This Event is a Gong and Yin Yoga Collaboration with Henika from Lesson Learnt Daily.
Yin Yoga is a relaxing, gentle style of yoga that incorporates principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and restorative postures. With generous help from props, bolsters and blocks to support the process, Yin gently releases the deep connective tissues between the muscles and the fascia throughout the body. It promotes peace and stress-relief whilst regulating the body’s flow of energy. You will be lead by Henika into release, relaxation and a perfect state for receiving the Gong….
Gong Meditation is one of the easiest and quickest ways to get into a deep meditative state. Every Gong Bath is a very personal experience, depending on where you are on your journey through life. Maybe you never meditated or maybe you already practice meditation or mindfulness.
The shifting frequencies and rhythms of the gong lead the brain effortlessly into theta & alpha brain waves, stimulate all cells in the body and help you to achieve states of deep calm, clarity & mindfulness. You might experience pleasant sensations and feelings such as body awareness, creative visions & dreams, and mild euphoria. Or you might relax so completely that you fall into a restful sleep!
